Fixed (in) England

Home advantage doesn’t only exist in sports. With more cyclists riding with Quoc shoes in the UK than anywhere else in the world, we’re always thinking of ways to close the gap between production and pedal.

If you caught the news about the Fixed England model, a limited run of the Fixed silhouette made in Sheffield, England, then you’ll know what a big deal it was for us to be able to find a partner who could recreate the Fixed to our exacting standards. But of course, it’s not just about the label. By bringing shoe production closer to our customers, we can make incredible efficiencies across the board, lowering our carbon footprint and eliminating a lot of the waste that comes with distanced manufacturing. It doesn’t hurt to be providing jobs to skilled artisans, either.

As our visit to Goral’s shoe facility made clear, their attention to detail and strong skill base provide all the right reasons to work more closely together. Which is why we’re pleased to announce that going forward, we will be producing the entire Fixed shoe line in Sheffield, England.

From limited run to fully-fledged manufacturing, the success of the Fixed England proved that we could switch up our supply chain for the betterment of the product and the people. Watch this space for more local production shortly.
